Open different doors. You may find a You there that you never knew was yours.

        Hello ever bright shining stars,

This week I decided to try a recipe I had never done before. Can you guess what it is?

Crepes!!  If you said pancake you're half right.

Not bad, huh? The raspberry sauce was D E L I C I O U S.
Lighter than a buttermilk pancake, it seems almost angelic to be indulging in a dainty French crepe.
This is definitely going to be a staple dish in my kitchen!

I also did a bit of window shopping for no apparent reason and somehow walked out with bags in my arms and a few awesome purchases.

My new favorite accessories, metal necklace and metal hair clasp...so shiny and futuristic.

You can never have enough cat eye sunglasses
Minty Green

These trees are so inspirational, so beautiful and are right outside on my street.
A gift from Mother Nature...

Hope you are all having a lovely week. Stay inspired and keep shining even through the darkest of times.
Love, me.

Ombré Lippy!

How awesome do these candy colored ombré lips look?? What a fun way to amp up your pout. Talk about making a Lip Statement. This seems like a perfect look for a wild night out. Although it's probably not the best idea for a first date if you're expecting that sweet goodnight kiss. These lips are eccentric and I'm loving it!!

Here's my Ombre Lippy

I am wearing
Bare Minerals Moxie
Mac Sheen Supreme
Limecrime Mint To Be

Would you rock the ombre lip?

Keep Shining!!
Love & good vibes,
Cassandra

Raindrops on Roses...

Since it was sprinkling yesterday I thought I would capture a few photos of how beautiful the raindrops are. They look like pretty gems sitting on the leaves and rose petals...a visual proof of how magical and giving nature can be.

With love,

When I Grow Up I Want To Be A Mermaid

My thoughts exactly as a young kid growing up. I had this really cooI Lil Miss Mermaid doll (made by Mattel !) who had colored jeweled fins that brightened up neon in water and she sang a sweet melody when you squeezed her. She was my favorite doll in the whole world. Aside from my other favorite doll who had super cool color changing hair.
I was convinced there were mermaids swirling inside the glittering sea, lounging amongst the colorful coral reef and peeking their heads out at night to star gaze. Ok I really didn't think all that as a kid but I do imagine it now. I mean, they say that a new unknown creature is found in the ocean everyday. Maybe we aren't looking hard enough. Maybe I was a mermaid in my past life...All I'm saying is never doubt the unknown.
Here is some very cool mermaid art. Now I want some starfish in my hair and to eat a yummy seaweed salad with a coconut on the beach. Enjoy :)
Keep Dreaming,

Flower Crown DIY

Flower crowns are this season's prettiest accessory. I think they make you really feel the essence of spring, which is my favorite season! You can make this for yourself or as a sweet surprise gift for someone. When I made my flower crown I wore it everywhere and got many compliments & questions about it so I figured I would share this with you! Have fun with it & be patient :)

Things you'll need:
Flowers
Floral tape
Floral wire
Scissors
Pliers optional

Flowers can be bought at any crafts store. I bought my pink roses at Michaels and paid $10 dollars for one bunch to make half a flower crown. Some flowers are pricier than others depending on the texture and style.

Start by cutting the stems off the flowers and leaving about an inch of stem so that you can attach them to your crown.

Measure the floral wire around your head and make sure its slightly larger than your head. You can wrap it twice or three times so you can have a sturdier crown.

Papa wouldn't stop going after my flowers!!

You can either wrap pieces of floral wire around the flowers and use the pliers to maneuver or use floral tape to wrap the stems of the flowers to the crown, your choice! Floral tape was easier for me to use. You can add flowers around the entire crown or you can just add them to the front. Be creative with it.

Once you have all your flowers attached, wrap floral tape on the part of the crown that doesn't have any flowers on it. This helps to make the crown feel sturdy on that precious skull of yours.

& there you have it, your own flower crown!

Keep Shining!
